DAY 35: 800 CAL DIET TO PUT DIABETES T2 INTO REMISSION WITH REAL FOOD


Bad news this morning.  I gained 1.2 pounds suddenly, overnight.  The last time this happened, I had eaten salty potato chips.  I think it was the chicken and wild rice soup last night, very salty and very ricey.  Never again.  That will set me back a week.  Luckily, I know how to lose it.  Keep on.

I HAVE ADDED A NOTE TO YESTERDAY'S POST NOT TO USE THE CHICKEN AND WILD RICE SOUP.  CUGINO'S BURGUNDY FRENCH ONION SOUP IS A GOOD REPLACEMENT.

Here is the menu for the day:

BREAKFAST: 1/2 Slim-Fast Protein Shake

LUNCH:  Mission Carb Balance Tortilla, 2 oz Jack Daniels Beef Brisket or2 oz roast beef, romaine, 5 grapes

DINNER:  1 whole Slim-Fast Protein Drink, 1 cup Progresso Homestyle Chicken Veggie Pasta Soup, salad, 5 Toasted crackers

Total Calories 792, Total Fat 39 gm, Total Carbs 70 gm, Total Protein 50 gm, Total Fiber 22 gm, Total Net Carbs 48 gm.
