DAY 15: 800 CAL DIET TO PUT DIABETES T2 INTO REMISSION WITH REAL FOOD


Well, hurray!  Another pound is gone since yesterday.  I thought it would be great to lose 2 pounds per week, but it might actually be more.  Here are my stats:

Weight:  162,  FBS 126 (10 Units Insulin last night)  Fat% 38.1

Here is the menu for the day:  The popcorn is optional.  If you want to lose faster, leave it  off.

BREAKFAST: 1/2 Slim-Fast Protein Drink

LUNCH:  Mission Carb Balance Tortilla, 1/4 cup Marketside Chicken Salad,  romaine, apple

SNACK:  2 cups air popped popcorn

DINNER: 1/2 Slim-Fast  Protein Drink, 1 cup Campbell’s Beef Roast w/Vegetables & Herbs Soup, salad, 5 Toasted crackers

Total calories:  788, Total Fat 33 gm,  Total Carbs 90 gm, Total Protein  42 gm, Total Fiber 26 gm, Total Net Carbs  64 gm
