CHART OF PROGRESS IN 76 DAYS ON 800 CALORIE, BALANCED PROTEIN AND CARB DIET

I  thought I would summarize the wonderful weight loss in 76 days, with this chart.  There are several identifiable points, where I had too much salt, and when I turned on the Vielight 810 after a week of no weight loss previously.

I was hungry for the first few days as I went to bed, but as my hunger shrank, so did my need for insulin.  I was previously on 28 units twice daily of Lantus.  During the diet, I only needed 10 units roughly once in three days.

Now that I am eating again, I am logging myself in at 1200 calories, balanced protein and carb.  This is effectively my maintenance diet for now.  I am anxious to see what increased ATP production from the Vielight will do for me over the next two months.  And I have my updated A1C to compare in
three months.

So, here is the chart:

I turned the Vielight on for the first time November 15th, after a week of no weight loss.  The sudden increase in the rate of weight loss returned.

DAY 76: 800 CAL DIET PLUS VIELIGHT 810 TO PUT DIABETES T2 INTO REMISSION WITH REAL FOOD

Ok, some guests arrived unexpectedly, and this is not the time to continue dieting.  I have lost 25 pounds, but I have not resolved the diabetes issue.  Between guests and the holidays, I just don’t have the time to pursue it.  So, I will be coming back in January, to do another 800 calorie diet to lose the weight I know I will gain. In the meantime, I will be adding low carb foods and portion controlling what I do in an effort not to regain much weight.  Stuff life cheese, eggs and nuts and more veggies will be added to the 800 calorie diet, in the same format.  No bread, just tortillas, keep up the protein, add blood sugar remedies as needed.  I will be going back up on my regular insulin, as needed. I hope not much.

Anyway, this has been a fun elevator ride down, and I do encourage others to go on the 800 calorie diet.  I also encourage the use of the Vielight 810.   I am glad to have gone through this experience and I will continue in January.  It is not that uncomfortable to lose weight this way.

I am adding calories up to 1000 today, but keeping net carbs below 30.

In short, I am adding 1 chicken sausage link to the basic diet dinner, with one ounce cheese.  I am adding 2 cups popcorn for lunch, along with the usual diet lunch.  Never forget green drink, raw veggies, and protein up.

We will post a chart of my weight loss, so do please check back again soon.  Good luck to all of us who want to try to put diabetes T2 into remission.

DAY 75: 800 CAL DIET PLUS VIELIGHT 810 TO PUT DIABETES T2 INTO REMISSION WITH REAL FOOD

Well, at least I did not gain any weight.  My fat percent is up, though, so I will have to look for another day for weight loss.  I can still outlast this. I am giving it until Dec. 15th, or 90 days on this diet.  After that, Christmas, New Years, and a new round of dieting is for me.

I get the feeling that the end of this diet will not see me in remission for diabetes.  That is OK, my pancreas has had a lot of surgery and damage.  .

I am happy to have lost the weight, and I am also happy to have the opportunity to rebuild my diet from the ground up.  I am keeping the format of 800 calories, and adding calories to it from starchy veggies, eggs, cheese, etc.  I am also happy to have shown that you can use real food plus a basic protein drink to lose the weight.  And I hope the menus come in handy for anyone else who wants to try.  And I am ecstatic about the Vielight 810.  It can continue improving my metabolism from here on.

So, here we go until Dec. 15th.  Here are my stats for today:

Weight 145.4    FBS 127 (10 IU insulin after lunch yesterday)   Fat% 33.6

And here is the menu:

BREAKFAST:  1/2 Slim-Fast Protein Drink

LUNCH:  Mission Carb Balance tortilla, 3 oz Mistica Ranch Cheez-it Coated Chicken Bites, romaine, raw veggies, Dole No Sugar Mandarin Orange Cup

DINNER:  1 whole Slim-Fast Protein Drink, salad, 5 Toasted Crackers, 6 walnut halves, 5 grapes

Total Calories 804, Total Fat 42 gm, Total Carbs 65 gm, Total Protein 51 gm, Total Fiber 23 gm, Total Net Carbs 42 gm.

DAY 74: 800 CAL DIET PLUS VIELIGHT 810 TO PUT DIABETES T2 INTO REMISSION WITH REAL FOOD

I seem to be bouncing around with 1/2 pound variation with no real weight loss this morning.  I can outlast this, though.

I wanted to talk a little about the fact that more and more people will learn that Type 2 diabetes is reversible, and give the 800 calorie diet a try.  Of course, I can recommend it, but I feel it is worth the money to buy the Vielight 810 as well.  Aside from reports of diabetic metabolism improving among customers, the Vielight 810 also can help with the other co-morbidities of diabetes, the neuropathy, blood pressure, and even depression.  I really feel that just about everyone will want one when they learn what it can do.  Of course, there are varying responses to the Vielight.  But there are no varying responses to the 800 calorie diet, so use both tools for maximum effect.  That is my plan.  It gives me courage on the days I don’t lose weight, like today.

So, here are my stats:

Weight:  145.4  FBS 146  Fat% 32.9

And here is the menu:

BREAKFAST:  1/2 Slim-Fast Protein Drink

LUNCH:   Mission Carb Balance Tortilla, 1 pc. Van De Kamps Breaded Fish for Sandwiches, romaine, raw veggies

DINNER:  1 whole Slim-Fast Protein Drink, salad, 5 Toasted Crackers, 4 pecan halves, 5 grapes

Total Calories 796, Total Fat 44 gm, Total Carbs 62 gm, Total Protein 48 gm, Total Fiber 21 gm, Total Net Carbs 41 gm.

DAY 73: 800 CAL DIET PLUS VIELIGHT 810 TO PUT DIABETES T2 INTO REMISSION WITH REAL FOOD

There was a small amount of weight loss this morning.  I can’t explain either the small weight gain yesterday or the small weight loss today.  It is all in the normal course of weight loss, I think, and I am on my way again with 1/2 pound gone.

Now that we know Diabetes T2 can be reversed, I have no choice but to pursue this to the end, which hopefully will be with the loss of a few more pounds.  I will be adding calories from low glycemic foods after I hit the last of the diet.  This is really the hardest part.  Not eating food is not nearly so hard as eating consciously.  Either way, I will have reduced need for insulin because I will not be allowing so much sugar and refined carbs.  And of course, I will be really happy to have lost the weight, so I will maintain it with new vision, and of course, my new ally, the Vielight 810.

So, here are my stats for today:

Weight 144.8    FBS 129 (10 IU insulin yesterday after lunch)   Fat% 32.6

And here is the menu:

BREAKFAST:  ½ Slim-Fast Protein Drink

LUNCH:  Mission Carb Balance tortilla, 2 oz Jack Daniels Thinly Sliced Brisket or 2 oz roast beef, romaine, raw veggies, 1 dried apricot

DINNER:  1 whole Slim-Fast Protein Drink, salad, 5 Toasted crackers, 5 walnut halves, 5 grapes

Total Calories 804, Total Fat 45 gm, Total Carbs 64, Total Protein 47 gm, Total Fiber 22 gm, Total Net Carbs 42 gm.
